Here is the Tychonic model of the universe. It's also called the geocentric- earth centered- model. In this model, the earth is in the center of the universe. The sun, moon, and stars go around the earth. The planets go around the sun.

Interesting, where does the theory behind the model come from ?

I like the idea Josh because it would seem that everything should center around the earth.

Josh, in these verses should we believe that the earth doesn't move period... no orbital path and no rotation?

1 Chronicles 16:30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved."

Psalms 93:1 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Psalms 96:10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.Josh
